You Are ALWAYS a Funeral Director – Toby Sutton

We, at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service know all too well about reputation and character. This is the foundation and core of our existence. We believe that we represent our establishment in everything we do. Some view being a Funeral Director as simply a “profession”. We (the Funeral Directors at Diehl-Whittaker view being a Funeral Director as a “calling.” The difference in views indicates that we realize that someone is always watching and that you must always exhibit the highest level of integrity, honor and dignity even when you aren’t directly servicing a family.

This article written below by Toby Sutton, reminds us all too often of those who do not take this “calling” to heart and thus giving the funeral industry a bad reputation. Rest assured that at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service, we will continue to provide the community and those we serve with the utmost respect “on or off duty.” ~ Lori

Below is the article that was referenced in this blog

Funeral Industry – You Are ALWAYS a funeral director. Sometimes, we forget that we cannot leave our profession at the door. When the day ends, and we are ready to go out and have a good time, we must always remember that people from our home towns are always going to view us as the town mortician.
